Pure//Accelerate is Pure Storage’s flagship annual conference and one of the company’s biggest brand and product moments. It’s where Pure announces major innovations in its platform, brings together customers and partners, and showcases its vision for the future of data infrastructure.

From a design perspective, it required building a cohesive visual system that worked across digital campaigns, on-site event environments, presentation decks, and product launches. The goal was to make the experience feel unified and premium while supporting a huge volume of content across marketing, product, and executive communications.

Pure//Accelerate 2024

Preliminary concepts and exploration

Initially given that the theme would be about digital transformation, I explored around taking the hexagon shape and giving it a spiral treatment with a gradient color scheme. The idea was to give the hexagon shape that Pure Storage has built its’ identity on as a data storage company, a look that assumes to be a hybrid of organic and technology through the theme of digital transformation.

Final Concept

Ultimately, the design has evolved into being a modular design through the Pure Storage logo itself and a custom use of the “//” (slashes), a design system and convention that Pure Storage has done with their product portfolio. The bold color gradient scheme was kept but pushed further to keep with the energy and vibe for the flagship event.

This system allowed us to create various templates and designs for multiple touch-points through out the event for both digital and print. It allowed us to keep the design consistent and interesting.

SKO 2023

At Pure Storage, SKO, Sales Kickoff, is the company’s annual internal event where sales, marketing, and leadership align on strategy, messaging, and priorities for the year. It’s a mix of executive vision, product direction, and hands-on enablement, designed to prepare go-to-market teams to drive pipeline and close business.

SKO was one of the most impactful internal moments I supported at Pure. From a brand and design perspective, it’s where messaging and visuals really need to land clearly because they directly influence how sales teams talk about the product all year.

I worked on keynote visuals, campaign assets, templates, ensuring everything was not only on-brand but also easy for teams to use . A big focus for me was translating ideas into clear, compelling visuals that reps could confidently present to customers.

It was also highly cross-function where I got collaborate closely with marketing, product, and sales leadership to make sure what we designed aligned with the broader GTM strategy.
